It must take a hell of a lot of work to keep the rat look. I got my bus four years ago ,knowing it needed work doing ,while this work was being done (its our daily drive) i ignored the surface rust thinking it looked cool ,now i need to replace panels

For me its about faded OG paint and if its a commercial period sign writing so faking the rat look defeats the object imho.

When I unearthed the company logos on the cab doors of my van I really wanted to run it as is, but with the amount I wanted to run the van and with no where to dry store it I felt it was better to paint it in the interests of rust prevention.


And we don't want the forum over run with yellow bellys, its bad enough being there on a weekly basis :lol:
