i not a fan of how the rear rear camber changes on a lowered bus.

i've got a 68 with a one click drop on the back planning on going lower soon but i dont want any camber.I know there is some thing on the market that elevates the camber but what is it?.. is it easy to fit?.. how much? and where from?

Is it IRS or swingaxle?
My 1970 bay is IRS so there's no negative camber issues.

uk rhd 1968 bus

its irs.... the bus already has a camber and its only down one spline.... is there anything on the market that will sort the camber issue and make the rear suspension adjustable at the same time?

I guess you need to be able to drop the inner mounting bracket of the diagonal arm, or its bolt holes, there are various ways splitty irs conversions do this, most common is by using bolt on inner mounts, Bus Boys and others sell kits, i think someone does a offset hole adjuster too. My Haynes shows a picture with the caption "adjusting rear wheel camber by altering the torsion bar angles through rotation of the diagonal arms" its not covered in the text, the picture shows a massive wrench being used to bend the arm.

The rotation of the diagonal arms is minimal and only used to fine adjust..

Was reading something recntly ill see if i can dig it out..

Wagonwest horse shoe plates....

its on Smudge's thread, thought i'd read something else on it see if i can remember....but in the meantime
