Hi Guys,

Just wondering why so many early bays have their rear markers removed? I am just about to order some with the bulb holders and thought I would check just in case its something silly for the MOT?

Take care

J

I have both rear and fronts wired and working, never questioned on MOT.

Volvo's have them so why not ;)

What markers? Do you mean the extra lights on the sides? They were USA market.

I bought bulb holder for the front as well so we have amber and red illuminations

MOT man has never said a word except it looks good in the dark!!

I also have the USA bulb holder in the front indicators so have twin element bulbs the dimmer of the two illuminates with side lights. Looks ace at dusk with side lights on ;)

I have them connected up on my bus.

MOT guy told me if there fitted they need to be working, so no problems :)

got red on the back and amber on the front ,to be onhest all the after market ones i have seen and bought are rubbish .cut the bulb holders out and buy some decent holders from maplins ,might just be me but i find the quality of them crap .

Cheers guys, if the quality varies of the markers where's the best place to purchase them from please?

Take care

As long as they are amber and not red it's MOTable.

Rear, side markers may be red on these vehicles, provided they are not visible from a forward position!
