Question for you..

As my bus had these taken off by the PO and replaced with a single solid glass, I have never had a good look at how the rear opening-quarters are fitted.

Looking at the cab doors, although fiddley, they look fairly straight-forward as there is a section of frame that goes into the door and holds the quarter up and gives the solid window something solid to run against.

With the rears though, there is no frame to bolt to the bus, so how do these actually work?

The green section is where I would like to place the rear opening-quarter, blue is the solid. Yellow will be a slider, just to be different :fighting0038:

They are held in by the rubber in the same way as standard glass is, but there are also extensions to the vertical "divider bar" which fit on the inside of the window aperture (which stop it from "popping out"). This is what the two slots in the window aperture, top and bottom at 1/4 distance are for. Fit the 1/4 first, then the 3/4. HTH :D

Cheers for the information FS.

It is a shame no one makes the frames new, it is hard to find a decent second-hand set.. :?

Cheers, I had seen that, but would like the whole setup, not just the outside frame.

Although this picture is useful for fitting reference:

Cheers Matt, I'll see what VH have got, then compare to FBI.

VW Brazil import parts. You might try Heritage as Paul was out in the U.S last week talking to the supplier and should be able to source them if there is demand.
