Anyone got a photo of the tailgate locking mechanism (the triangular looking bit) I'm sure I've got something missing from it and scratching my head trying to get my head round it.
Cheers

Thanks for pics, looks like I'm not missing anything on that bit, the 'throw' on the lock doesn't look long enough to open the tailgate

I had the sane thing on mine if I've understood you correctly.

Does the lock actually touch the mechanism when you press the button? Mine wasn't even close.
So I put a small screw and bolt through the hole in the actuating lever so that the lock button would reach and thus open the door.

Thanks, looks like we both got same problem, I put a spacer and bolt too but catch goes too far, will try adjusting today. Surely it didn't come out the factory like that.

You've probably in that case got the wrong push button lock.

That would make sense, I'll check code, thanks, as key is same for doors I'm wondering if it's had new handles in its lifetime too.

Checked code on barrel 211829231g/h and latch is 211829211e, when screwed to bus the 'push' part of the lock is about 5mm away from the lever when the barrel is pushed fully in.
