Rear view mirror insert

I have the mirror. I have the hole in the van it goes into. But there must be some sort of insert the mirror goes into. Any ideas? If there is an insert where do you get it? Cheers

Put it in the hole at a right angle to how it sits and twist it down to the final fixed position.
