Was looking at CSP Python but only have a vege 1600 engine, will go twin carb at some point is there any point putting the CSP on? It looks like its meant for larger performance engines. Does anyone have any idea where to get one & how much I should pay?

Cheers

there are a couple of british options as well... cheaper too.

Will phone machine7 to find out how much it is

make sure your sitting down

Custom Turbo Thomas Muffler now fitted, van runs better, is quieter on the Motorway plus we seem to be getting better gas mileage!!!! Will post some piccies tommorow hopefully (when I can work it out)! Will be rolling roaded next week so hopefully much more to come out of the engine (jetted all wrong and carbs not balanced).

PS thanks to an earlier post we had it polished as well for a bit more bling!

Thanks Johnny it's one of the neatest installations ive seen and does not unduly compromise ground clearance!!! We're real happy with it

Excellent question Aaron :D , the van's not here to check but from memory during the install this is not a problem. Should there be any issues I'll let you know, but if the worst came to the worst, we are only talking 4 bolts here!

whats the clearance like to the rocker cover?

How weird dude, i was gonna ask that  wondering if it heats up that side of the rocker much? especially stuck in traffic :?: that would be my only concern apart from that it looks ace 8)

No probs so far (but then again we've only been out it 3 times since fitted). Ian Scooby has has had his tuckaway fitted longer than me so he may well have some feedback. I know oil temp is different to head temp but we have not noticed any difference in the normal 70 to 95 degree standard operating temperatures or the heat up time (and we have actually had a few days of summer!!!!). As Johnny says I am sure this was considered at the design stage and although the fitting to a BC header is custom, the tuckaway design is one of TT's "standard' exhaust types.

PS Going up to Alfreton to have the van rolling roaded on Thursday and hoping to give her an extended run out to Tatton Park on Sunday.
