My bus has the original radio but is half hanging out and not working, so thought I would remove for now as I don't want the dash damaging any further.

Is it a case of pulling the control knob off and I can then see a slim nut, undo this and you can pull it back from the fascia? Or are the fascias easy enough to get hold of and hence I can be more forceful and just pull it back?

Cheers

You got it, a couple of slim nuts and sometimes a back brace but not very often, if yours is hanging out, I doubt if yours has a brace behind.
