Repairing indicator switch

I have a 74 bay built February 74 and imported from Canada. The indicator switch is broken. It is the small square one not the later ring type. I have dismantled it and glued the plastic parts but reassembly is proving difficult. I cannot see exactly where the ball bearing, spring and the small chrome cylinder fit. How does the headlight dipper work as the lever seems to be fixed in the vertical plane but it should lift up and down to dip.

Does anyone know of an exploded diagram I can follow or can anyone give advice please?
