Hi People. Just for your information really. I along with half the bus population, found myself completely frustrated with the state of my '69 chassis. Frustrated at the fact that every couple of years up it goes on the ramp to be plated so it will pass its MOT. As with a lot of campers of the same age so much welding and plating has been done it now looks like some frankenstein interpretation of the original. All because no replcement components can be found. Having spoken to a few fellow engineers we decided enough is enough and no more buses are going to be sent to the scrap yard or cut up because no one can be bothered to manufacture the needed chassis. Therefore it is with great pleasure i introduce to you, Obsolete Chassis Components. As a small group of engineers, taken from the automotive and aerospace industry We offer what will be a full range of early bay Chassis components for any section, or indeed complete chassis if required. It is our aim to offer complete new rear beams with a fitting soultion included along with adapter components for fitting the Subaru flat four engine. All components manufactured to BS.EN287. Maybe Turbo versions if we can get one to stop quick enough LOL.

Any feedback would be most welcome, as this was the aim of this post. Not to generate business.

Many thanks. Gary :D

Around the Redditch area. were not sure where to go yet as we currently use two workshops for manufacture and dependent on what response we get then we can decide from there. Its just such a shame we lose these vehicles at the rate they are going.
