Hi,

Just getting ready to tuck my bus up for the winter but i'm a bit concerned with a few bits of surface rust on the roof and bumpers thats coming through.

Its not rot but at the same time i dont want it to get any further.

Any tips or advice on how to either treat it myself or where i could go to get it touched up?

Cheers

Dave (man of a million questions)

Where is it being stored?
You could prime it although primer is pourous. Although this would do if you were storing it in a garage.

its just on my drive at the moment.

I have a cover for it but i'm looking for a garage to store it in buts its not easy finding one.

Ring Gav at V-Werks as I posted in the garages thread. He works with a guy called Malc (100% Slow) who does do some storage. Not sure if hes got any room in the bat cave but its worth a try to get your van undercover.

I've just posted this in another thread so sorry to repeat myself...
Try your local council - most have garages for rent (cheap) but there may be a waiting list... you can apply online with my local council, give it a go...

;)

i have been quite lucky by finding a shipping container for rent £80 a mnth and the bus fits in with lots of room to take the spares an other stuff.

i was thinking of trying to find a bit of land where i could buyone of these and use but that is quite expensive, although the container is only about £900ish
