beds in but what a nightmare, as i have rear tubs had to drill holes in arches to fit anyway heres the question

When the bed is in the down position should it but up to the rear deck over the engine but not overlap, if so thats good,
next is , when the seat is upright is there a gap between the engine deck and the rear as i have from memory a few inchs gap. if so this maybe a pain in the arse for foam.

so really im asking for a pic of a rusty lee r n r bed fitted up and down without any cushions on please, prefer shot from rear to see gap.

thanks in advance.

:D

I haven't got any pics without the foam but yes there is a couple of inches or so gap and you need to get your cusions made up to the same gap otherwise they will clash when you pull the bed out.
Who is doung your cushions?
Delilah's did mine with the boards built into the cushion and screwed to the bed frame.
Really pleased with it.

I had some loose home made ones on it before but took the plunge and got it done properly.
Really pleased with the result.

I have this bed too and also have the gap behind the seat.
I'm also wondering what to do with the backside of the seat. Looking at it from behind you see the frame and wooden board. I don't think it will look right once the cushions go in.

I have ordered my cushions from Delilah 2 weeks ago and they won't be ready until the end of january. They are very busy at the moment. Send them an email, they are very helpfull.

Rick, no worries what we'll do is mount your cushions on new boards for you and trim the rear of the middle cushion in vinyl so that when you fit it wood isn't visible from the rear just a vinyl finish :D
