Single and twin port cases the same except for the following :- twin port case has larger oil galleries,( good ) newer cases have 2 oil pressure release valves (good ) and one of oil cooler fastening studs is larger. Go for twin port case but make sure it has holes in case for engine support if fitting to type 2 other wise you will have to get adaptor bracket. Some people say the adaptor bracket is a problem but I have fitted quite a few and have had no complaints
