:lol: - looking at the weekend it occurred to me that the van has exactly the same size wheels/tyres as some of our caterham ones..... :twisted:

Ok, so I'll be honest - they'd wear out in about 3 corners on the van, but the not entirely stupid idea is that for the purposes of moving the van up from Somerset, they'd do fine, as I have a few lying around - the tyres currently on the van are a good few years old and perishing.
However - the real reason is that it will lower the ride height by a couple of inches - enough to ensure that the van will certainly fit in the garage we have lined up for her - it would have been about 50mm clearance but this should make it much more....
Still - it will make for some cool pictures..... :roll:
(I know they aren't slicks - but if anyone is interested they are Yoko A048's - pretty cheap, sexy tyres - quite soft. Toyo R888 is rapidly taking more of the market, if anyone is interested in a good value, sticky tyre!!)
