sliding door floor strip

the 'problem' with the vanwurks ali strip is that it comes pre drilled with 3 holes - if you then drill thro' the floor and attach the strip with self tappers.................you find that they foul the lower roller guide on the sliding door - I drilled one hole and discovered this, the roller guide just snapped the screw off - as yet I haven't gone back to sorting it but I guess the answer is to either to use self tappers which are modified or to redrill the ali strip inboard of the sliding door lower channel, if there's room

fitted yesterday, rivetting works a treat
Floor has been treated with rustoleum combicolour mixed to pastel white, L90D, then I laid noisekiller barrier mat over the floor, 12mm ply treated with dane oil, then black lino stuck down around the edge - the 'step' in the vanwurks ali strip accomodates the ply/lino floor perfectly
