Have you removed the round plastic cover in the middle of the inside handle & removed the screw that holds the outer handle on?
Also there is a chrome sleeve that the outer handle fits through that can sometimes stick to the handle.

Thanks Mr Loxy.

Have removed the inner handle, but just seems stuck, sounds as if could be the chrome sleave, will wd40 it up and tap the handle from the inside.

Seems as there is a clip inside the mechinisim holding it in place, willlet soak in and tap it later.

Your vans better looking than mine now. :D

Slowly coming out just stuck at the last bit now. Im off for my tea now. will finish later.

I pulled my door handle out thanks to this thread... - mine had no circlips or anything holding it in, just the single screw on the inner handle.

Also, I've now lost the tiny grub screw and damaged the inner barrel beyond use  . So I've secured my van and I'm now after another handle (or the innards from one).

Thanks guys

Should i start a new thread, lets see what we can take off and break it.

Mines off now, but was reasting arrest at the last bit, when feeling it it had a small ridge on it stopping it going throught the hole, got the grinder out and shaved it down a bit.

Didnt see any grub screw though. ;)

The old park it close to a wall trick eh? ;)

How did you manage to break it?

How to make me feel very daft

I put it in a vice to secure the end as I was trying to fit a new chrome endcap which needed a bit of persuasion to stay on... and the vice ended up crushing the middle section where the fillets go...

It has just been one of those days
