Anyone taken one of these off ?if so whats the best way to do it,any info would be great thanks Dave..

many times  some times without trying ;) first remove side cover,2 screws one at each end ,then nut and bolt through C post and depending on age there might be a large philips screw you can only see with door partly open facing forward under front off side cover .you will now need asistant, slide door aprox halfway open ,you will see cutout in runner.line this up with side mechenism and lift runner of guide, now slide door rearwards asfar as pos lift rear and take top runner out of guide.now pull doorout till nearly 90 degrees to side and then lower runner will disengauge from lower guide .be carefull as lower bracket can brake as is cast alli once you work it out its a piece of doody, just takes 2 unless your heman

thanks for that mate will try and work it out from info bud cheers.

or you could take the four bolts out from the rear of the door and pull the mechanism out ,then side off the rear... ;)

Make sure you have something to catch it with... 8)

i cannot stress how heavy the sliding door is. if you are doing this for the first time do not do it on your own.
