For those who have/had sliding windows in their bus, who makes the best window?
Heritage have them for £129 and you need to buy a separate seal.
JK same.
Custom&Commercial £199 and the seal seems to be integral.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Oh the reason I ask is because after days of fixing my vent windows I installed them today only for one to snap away from the frame and the other to have such a poor quality repro seal that water pours in. Fuming, so in go sliders.

I used the ones from JK with the integral seal and they are fine, would have bought them off Heritage but they were always out of stock.

These are the ones I fitted http://www.justkampers.com/237-845-707-4-middle-sliding-window-nearside-left-vw-t2-bay-1967-1979-including-seal.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

£149 including the seal (2 years ago they were just over £100 so thats VW inflation for you)

Thanks Graham. I wonder if JK have changed their windows as it looks like this has a separate seal that I have to fit whereas yours was integral. Had any problems fitting/with leaks or rattling?
Will order in the morning if alls ok.

When I bought them, they came with the seal already fitted so I'm not 100% sure whats changed, they are special seals as they sit slightly differently to a regular piece of glass because of the sliding mech.

Never leaked since we've had them fitted and provide ventilation at night time although now they do the rear side window as a slider as well, wish we had fitted at least one of those as well.

Cheers for that. I'll order and hopefully have better luck with these than the mysterious engineering that are vent windows.

these look good has anyone got any pics of them fitted and do they look obviuosly "non standard" apart from the bar don the middle...

like the idea at least offside middle behind my hob or maybe either sdie of the bed.....

The £129 ones are repro and require a £20 seal so £149 (we are due these back in stock beginning of march)

The £199 ones are genuine and include the seal (got these in stock)

(all prices before your EB discount) ;)

Hope that helps
