beautiful and sunny here, but getting colder and has that 'could snow any moment' feel

Well what can I say, start work on the van it snows, stop work and it stops :x set off for work and just get past stanstead it Blizzards, works cancelled and get back home no snow ( cool a day on the van) oh no get up and non stop bloody snow, atleast no going in to London tonight....

A few hours of snow and the streets of London look like armeggedon ..... why cant people drive in the stuff .... 1 bus in the central reservation on the M11 about 30 mins after he tanked it past me, cars up the embankments, on their rooves, complete mayhem....

If they'd all be in campers they could have chilled pulled over got the kettle on and trundled off again....

i feel so stooopid :D

been sat working on a website next to a window and just looked out and saw this, yet 30mins ago it was clear, at least im not in the garage today :)

where i live, it never snows... well, hardly ever like... some sort of geographical freak kind of thing, but i know 'old' people who've been here all their lives and they'd never seen it snow here, and then, when ? november 2005 it snowed... i mean not much, couple of inches in an afternoon max. and the place went mental; i live at the bottom of a steep hill with an escape lane, and i'd just been to the post office to pick up 3 big-ish boxes (ideal for clown-like 'in the snow' juggling  ) when i bumped into KS on the way home... we stood *observing* for a while and there were people sliding off the road, getting buried in the gravel, abandoning their cars and everything... one woman said she was gonna walk to plymouth... ended up sleeping in the community centre... because of two inches of snow ???

*mental*

all these abandoned cars on our hill and it'd melted by tea time

there's the odd, almost-apologetic flake sauntering down from the heavens as i type... i expect to see the streets filled with green goddesses before night falls :p

i remember that. I laughed a lot cos i had the day off and was comfortably sitting at home. Been snowing quite heavy at times here in perran

some enterprising snow "scultures" in the local park today and one of the van

*i may be gone some time*

We had about an inch or so, Closed schools etc! Now raining and mostly gone! Just the slush remaining!!! It never seems to last round here, can not remember last time we had any amount round these parts.

bolton shat one about 2 months ago. we had about 3" and everything went mental. turned out the council had sold 3 gritters in the summer and everyone got well pissy

Please tell that reads "should we ban him"
