where i live, it never snows... well, hardly ever like... some sort of geographical freak kind of thing, but i know 'old' people who've been here all their lives and they'd never seen it snow here, and then, when ? november 2005 it snowed... i mean not much, couple of inches in an afternoon max. and the place went mental; i live at the bottom of a steep hill with an escape lane, and i'd just been to the post office to pick up 3 big-ish boxes (ideal for clown-like 'in the snow' juggling :roll: ) when i bumped into KS on the way home... we stood *observing* for a while and there were people sliding off the road, getting buried in the gravel, abandoning their cars and everything... one woman said she was gonna walk to plymouth... ended up sleeping in the community centre... because of two inches of snow ???Araon said:A few hours of snow and the streets of London look like armeggedon... why cant people drive in the stuff...cars up the embankments, on their rooves, complete mayhem...
