Somerset/Taunton/Weston - Garages / vw mechanics

Hi guys n girls,

Does anyone know of any decent VW garages or mechanics in this area :?: , I have some friends who live down there and they need a local RELIABLE vw garage for their bay.

Used to go to a place in Chilcompton called Autobodies when I lived in Wells, run by a guy called Dave Schmidt, seemed ok and was always busy.
Although I should say that I never had much in the way of work done by them, mostly it was buying parts, him lending me tools to do a job & providing advice on how to do that job.

Also interested in somewhere 'van friendly' where I can get my van MOT'd - ideally Taunton area....

Take mine to Nationwide Autocentres in Bridgwater.

Found them good the last few times they done it.
Eveytime they do it they fail it first time (thinks its the van and not them) Got it booked in for next Friday and they didnt run a mile.

My mate used to mot it there for me, but has moved on now . Will let you know how it goes with them.
