Have only just got around to booking the ferry for this and got a bit of a surprise. Was going to Budel but cancelled. That crossing was £37 but for Spa, at EXACTLY the same times and days of the week,but a month later, it is now £66. That is almost 79% increase for the same service. :shock:
Still, gonna be well worth it!!!!

As the little ones would put it, '9 sleeps' until heading for mainland Europe! Does anyone else have a months worth of jobs to on their bus before then??!! Sadly the McCain factory at Whittlesey shuts down for 10 days this Friday, so we/I will working right to the last minute and trying to get on top of things (ha ha joke) so basically have to roll 'as is'. :shock:
Am sure it will be fine,looking forward to a bit of fun!!!!

Does anoybody know if the (I'm not sure if this is the name) Gadgetbus is going to Spa this year? I would love to take a picture of it together with my bus as it has been one of my alltime favourites

Me to pete, dont get the van back from slamwerks until tuesday evening and working this weekend and right until wednesday aswell, not much time left to sort anything and probably no room left in the van once Alice has filled it with her monster amount of clothes. Roll as is to europe lets start a new trend :lol: , are you supposed to service your van then? whats that knocking noise? :lol: :lol:

Jeez, as if there wasn't enough going on in my head with 13hr shifts in stupidly hot temperatures (way over 100 F, hard hat, safety glasses, ear defenders, overalls, boots etc). Just found out that despite the school web site stating 'end of term 21st july', Aaron is at school on the Thursday. Bummer. Mum says he can be ready to leave at 3.30pm, but we should be checking in at Norfolk Line, Dover at 7.00pm and I like to allow 4hrs to get there what with potential holdups around Dartford and M25. Coming back from Peppercorn witnessed an 8 mile tailback southbound to the bridge :shock: . Do not need that. Gonna be tight! :?

Karle, what is Guy up to now? You can't be going even lower surely??? Ah, do I recall mention of tubbing?

Yeah having the tubs done, there was a mention of going lower but i thought i would save it until we got back form Spa. It was a hard decision :lol:

Ok to those of You who are going ....... GET READY It will truly change Your lives as you will NEVER miss it again :mrgreen: . I will be there from Thursday and Im now all CB radio'ed up so '' Hang on to Your Ears Fred '' :lol:

It works out about 200 ish for fuel and there are two large supermarkets in the town that sell everything except Bacon :roll: . Its predominatly french speaking But most speak pigeon english too .

We leave on the Thursday morning on the 8.20am Euro tunnel and are back late Sunday night . It only cost £90 return too and Yes my bus gets on NO problems . Freezzr come over and have a Juplier :mrgreen:

Yea Pete me , Dave Smith84 and the God Bus ( Star of this months Camper and Bus ) are heading over on Thursday morning on the 8.20am Eurotunnel it was only 90 quid for my bus and Yeah were all on 19 Pete i will pm You my fone number :mrgreen:
