We saw this bus several times, thought it and the reg no. very cool! Sorry we didn't get to meet you.
What a fantastic event, superb location, top company etc, etc, etc! Pics will be up tomorrow, last night unloaded bus, ate then bed! Work today then pub and bed!!
Hope all the 'crew' got home ok, we did fine apart from missing the M11 turn from the M25 so had a longer route home than prefered but at least no break-downs. 8)
Do Spa folks, it's easy and just soooo damn good!!!! :D

had a great time out there the lap of the track was the best thing iv done in the van so far! just like to say thanks to those I traveled with realy made the trip and thanks for all the help. unfortunatly I finished the last 20 mile of our trip on a recovery truck after the van suffered a suspected dropped rod. engine is being dropped out tomorrow. so will hopefuly have news on that and more pics uploaded tomorrow

Awesome weekend,

Seconded!! Although it would have been even better for me if i had been doing the burnouts
Good show Alex4057 and lovely bus

Glad i was able to share this with some really good friends and because of this made some new ones

Greg, all of us cruising together made it for me, maybe next year there'll be more of us? Gutted to hear about the breakdown mate, i hope you can get it sorted without too much hassel.
We all got home with nothing other than a cancelled ferry crossing which meant a 2 hour delay

That's one of the best things about the whole VW scene and Earlybay.com in particular. This site seems to attract a certain calibre of individual. Good, decent, honest, normal, real, (as many adjectives as you can imagine!) folk whom are so easy to get on with, great company and make any event a cut above the rest.
Superb weekend, late home again so photos tomorrow, promise....(200 to choose from)..!!!

Greg, absolute bummer, thought that motor sounded fine and seemed to pull really well. Hope it's not as huge a disaster as it sounds, keep us all informed mate.

And yes, the travelling together really is cool!! 8)

Well I hav news the engine is out and I'm told there is a fuckin great hole in the block and the big end is poking out of the hole. I new it was bad when it happened but there was no warnings or any thing the van was still running very smoothly there was no warning lights on and the oil temp was normal but then there was a massive bang and then a scraping noise like somin was caught under the van. Turned the engin off and got it off the road within seconds of that. Will be heading back to the builder tomoz under warrenty, so fingers crossed
