Splitty front badge on our 69 Bay

Recent purchase and noticed our Bay had a 12" Badge - it looked massive! the previous owner insisted it was the correct one for the van and some Early Bays (this is a 69 so not really an early early :? ) had the large diameter badge. Searching this and other sites it seems general opinion that Splitty's were 12", Early's 10" and Latey's 7".

Does anyone know of an Early Bay with a factory fitted Splitty 12" Badge?

Seems to me as though this was probably fitted later by some previous owner :roll:
