THATS OK THEN

Just got a nice set of painted wheels with new Runway 185/80/r14 tyres for a song!

The tyres will be up 4 grabs as my white-walls are going on!

I thought Splitty's had 15 inch wheels or is that some Beetles?

I thought 15 inch stock wheels could look quite cool?

14" or 15" (Bugs and Three's has these) the stud pattern would be the same though, and 15" steels are a cool stock item .. allowing a bigger wheel/lo pro tyre combo for better handling whilst keeping it stock looking. :)

cool thought it were bugs but weren't sure!

If you go lower profile tyres does that mean bumpier?

Whats the best way to get a good smoth ride after lowering? I've got short shocks but the ride can still be brutal on bumy roads!

Dropped spindles?

Use dropped spindles

£399ish, it lowers the bus 2.5" without touching the beam, shocks, running gear etc., you get 2.5" lower without touching the shocks and keep the ride quality.

THEY ARE THE EXPENSIVE OPTION. AROUND £400, YOU KEEP THE STOCK SUSSPENSION FEEL, THO YOU ONLY LOOSE 2.5IN ON RIDE HEIGHT WHICH ISNT ENOUGH FOR THE SLAMMED CREW

I GOY MINE VIA WAGENWEST IN THE US

i like my ride height at the moment but could use the extra ride comfort

if i fitted spindles could i keep this hieght or would it go down further?

Cool lookin van fella 8)

You will have to raise you adjuster after fitting the spindles or you will be riding on your beam 8)

cheers dude

i think it sounds expensive but a good option me vans not mega low but sometimes the ride gets a bit to much.

not as bad as me mate van though his is turned and cut, the first time we went out in it he hit a speed bump and we both hit the roof of the van!

by the looks of it you would have to raise it or ^^WHS and you would probably have to tub the arches too. it looks tight as it is...

I had it lowered by Spike at house of dubs he lowered it as far as he could whilst still being able to keep stock wheels and decent tyre size

Pic of mine 15 in steel splitty rims
dropped 2.5 inch spindles can't remember tyre size  and it's dark :( (175/65/15 on front 185/65/15 rear me thinks)
10mm track increase

No rubbing issues here
