Been out in the van today to the inlaws didn't have a good start, forgot to take the tins off the roof racks which blew off a mile down the road didnt cause any damage to me or anyone else thankgod.

Then noticed when I let off the gas the engine splutters and missfires then when i dip the clutch to stop the fekker stalls!

Any idea's?

check your tappets gaps, check your dizzy advance and then it should be sorted. You`ll need a strobe light and someone who knows how to use it or you can loosen the dizzy clamp and work by ear..that`s how i used to do it before i had a strobe and i wasn`tfar off..just listen for when the engine sounds nice and tighten it up. Also check your points..gap them and also if all else fails change the condenser

then when all the above fails..drive to your nearest petrolstation buy a five litre can, fill it up, drive home, pour the contents all over the van and strike a match and innocently claim that the pixies did it....hehe
