Quick question, now I got engine running it starts goof from cold, but I stopped running after about a minute or two of running, tried re starting and nothing, didn't want to turn starter. Is this a bad wire or hot start issue?

Forgot to mention, starter is brand new (if that makes a difference)

Could be a number of things preventing it from starting, what have you checked so far? Is there a clicking sound from the starter when you try to start? Is there voltage at the solenoid? Did you fit a new bush when you fitted the new starter?

Have a look at this. Without trying to start it, check you have a good 12v where the red 6.0 wire and the black (might not be black on your bus) 25.0 wire bolt on to the solenoid. If that is good check terminal 50 for a good 12v when you try to start it.

See how that goes, then come back.

Thanks madman, not checked voltage yet, one thing I haven't done is fit a new starter bush as I wasn't sure if I needed to, would this make a difference? I have a new one so if makes a difference I could drop engine again. Starts really well from cold so assumed I knocked a wire or something

Problem solved, was a spade connector which had loosened, now starts first time :)

If you don't fit a new bell-housing bush, the starter motor warranty will most likely be null & void.
