Starting problems....

Hi All, i have a reccuring problem when trying to start my bus..... I can go out and from cold she can start on the button, then , as happened at the weekend, i drove from Dartford down to Breeze, i turned her off then tryed starting again and the battery appeared dead.....try 15 mins later and she will start on the button again..Its driving me potty as i never know if she will start or not.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Try checking all the connections battery to ignition and back to starter....

This is sounding like the hot start issue, due to the length of run and connections used you get a small drop in current although with corrosion this increases, coupled with the expansion of a hot engine means the effort required to turn over is greater. some people fit a relay activated by the ignition switch that way low current activation and the high current draw has a small continuous run from battery to relay - relay to solenoid......
