If they both have what you need in Stock then delivery will be the same time. Got all mine from c&c as they had stock

I used C&C, very quick delivery and excellent customer service....

I'm not saying you won't get the same service form Status VW though, I just have no experience of using them other than at a show..

John I just did my whole bus with Custom & commercial, for me it was between C&C and the west coast ones buying through Rackhams of Ipswich. I wasn't bothered who I bought off, I was more worried about who was selling the better quality. The price was with in a tenner of each other when I got a quote. I decided to go with c&c because I knew they would get them out quickly, but if I was doing it again and not in a hurry I would try rackhams.

The C&C ones are bloody tight and took a full day for me and one of my guys from work to do the whole bus.
I ended up getting one of the west coast front windscreen seals so I could compare and it went in a lot easier and looked good quality too. My main concern was the 1/4 lights, the C&C 1/4 light seals were a nightmare to fit, really really tight. To get the glass to shut we had to heat the rubbers up once installed with a heat gun and lots of G clamps to nip every thing up, each 1/4 light took 30 mins to get the glass to shut and seal as it should.
Although the C&C seals were difficult to fit the tightness does mean they seal up really well which is obviously the most important thing!

Hi,
If you want the deluxe rubbers with metal inserts go for C & C. Statu's rubbers will not take the mental inserts only plastic. This is what the guy in Status told me when I rang them up! C & c rubbers are German made.

I got my cab door rubbers from JK

:D

just to through another company into the mix, try Colin at http://www.deimosaircooled.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. their company ethos is only to supply the very best parts available. Many restowagen guys swear by their service.

The rubber I have had from Status has been the best so far

-e.g. Everything on the cab door kits fitted easily and still looks good. Not cheap but only had to do the job the once.

if you want to get what you paid for go c&c ! i could go on about a certain place but i wont....leave it.....ok :D

Don't forget that vewib brand seals have a great name for quality & fit but they are available from different suppliers...the product is excellent, however its the customer service that differs between many companies.
