what should i find inside oil or grease?

mines full of grease supposed to be a recon when bought bus, past last mot ok, changed to rack and pinion last year so is the box any good?

As stated it should be filled with oil. Mine was reconditioned and was packed with grease! It was certainly better than before but definitely not as good as it should be. It is still worth money and maybe a good option for someone who has just failed their mot on a box. However if it is packed with grease I would assume it will not be properly and fully reconditioned (as this is extremely hard/expensive to do), just had adjustment and new seals.
