Hi guys looking for some guidance please just got my 1970 bay on the road the steering is sloppy doesn't feel safe looking for advice as to what direction to go to rectify at the moment everything is standard with suspension and ride hight have adjusted steering box thoughts please

What do you mean by sloppy, how much free play do you have at the steering wheel?
Have you checked all the balljoints, track rod ends, steering idler, etc?

As above just go through one thing at a time, laying underneath with some turning the steering wheel may help you see where the play is. Front end jacked up of course.
Steering coupler look ok?
