Hi,
I was just about to get a set of 4.5"x15" bus steel wheels and run 175/55's on the front and probably 195' (60's or 65's) on the back - but having since read through the following I'm now having second thoughts.
http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg2.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
FYI: I'll be running a Weedeater narrowed beam with T2d dropped spindles, and the idea behind the 4.5" steels is that they'll fit under the front arches with no bother and with very little (or no) scrubbing.
So...
- Is the information on the above site accurate/correct?
- Are 195's too big for a 4.5" (for rear use)?
- Should I use a different (wider) wheel?
I know I could go for a 5" or 5.5" alloy wheel - but then I'd be sacrificing the offset of the steel wheels :?
Thank you,
Mike
