Surf Bus!

Just back from a week in Wales. The last two nights were spent at Black Rock Sands....



...camping just behind the dunes on a great site near Porthmadog.



The beach is amazing anyway but it is free to drive your car on it.



Some park and others cruise up and down. We took the van on and took some pics.




The Neil Young song Long May You Run came to mind. I wonder who first had the van back in 1967 and how close it got to being scrapped before being shipped over in 2005? It's from California so probably not the first time it has been on a beach! The extra chrome I've added makes it just the right location.

I used to go in this beach every year when I was a youngster... Remember steering the old man's rover SD1 2000 on the beach as he did the pedals..

We have been at Holywell bay all week ,haven't got the bus tho as its bare boned at the mo but would love to get it down on the beach for the week
