Years ago I brought a Thermador swamp cooler from the States. It was steel version from 50'ties. And boy they weigh a ton, I would be very afraid driving with one of those.

There's also aluminum versions, made in the sixties I think, that are smaller and a lot lighter too.

Hey dood! get it on the van! I wanna have a nosey :D

i heard a good nickname for those doods who 'over-do' the accessories... you know the guys with three retro coolers and a radio flyer on the roof rack, the swamp cooler and every other accessory they can squeeze on their ride, a "Buckeroo" it did make me laugh as i used to have hours of fun with the game as a kid :D

I nearly bought that one but found a different one from the states.

I know what you mean about the accessories dude its addictive i've got roof racks but so far i've had zero to put on them, got a cool box but it acts as a good buddy seat so it never goes on the rack anyway lol.

you fill them with ice? wouldnt it slush about alot and the condensation run into the door?

I don't like bling but have "assessorized" my ride 8)

Now have enough stuff to fill up a full length rack
info. the cooler weighs 8 1/2 lbs without water in it

If i'm honest I love all the chrome tack on stuff but not had the van long n have no mechanical ability so tacking crap on is about as much as i can do lol.

Another bonus is my missus just told me if i put one on my van she wont go in it

Looks really cool mate loving the graphics on it. The first one I got looks a bit ratty so i'm passing it on to me mate his van is about as ratty as you get and got a thermador one coming from the States now!

I'll post some pics when its here.

Looking at the rat one they only seem to be held up by the window glass itself?

Dave

There are 2 types of fixing, mine as the ratty one you refered to it held to the gutter and the window glass, the other type has an arm resting on the scrapers, meaning you cant wind the window down

Ok dude

The ratty one i'm selling on is the square type and only seems to have fastenings to the actuall winow.

The one i've got soming looks more liek the one you have!

If it fits to the window and the gutter how do you open your door?
