Swing Lever

Any ideas on how to refit the swing lever onto the bottom arm of the beam??

I jacked up the bush etc that sits through the middle to stop it from pushing out but cant seem to get the lever to go on to the pin!!

Also the 4th ball joint that i have tightened has decided to spin and wont bolt up! Is it possible to drop the bus onto the ground once the steering etc is put back together and wheels are fitted then tighten it or would this be a bit dangerous??

put pressure on the torsion arm that wont hold the balljoint tight and try it
a length of scaffold tube normally does the trick

or tap the balljoint area of the arm with a club hammer while tightening it, it will "catch" and tighten down!

You need to use a G clamp to hold it together whilst you tighten the pinch bolt.
