Saw them at Brighton Breeze! Anyone done the boot camp and what are your thoughts ?
I need to learn and start from the basics so thought this would be a good start.

If you're a compete novice they are a good thing to start with, £190 ish for half day I think? There is a few alternatives graham @ midland early bay is looking at doing something similar, and also the guys at the late bay do techenders weekends twice a year for just the cost of camping

A similar thread was started earlier in the year

Mr Medhurst has been around for a very long time
If I was going to do one of these I would defo go with them ,he gave me some very good engine advise 15 odd years ago about a type 3 engine
I think it must be a very interesting and useful thing to go to :)

My hubby is my mechanic but I did this Boot Camp with a friend (a woman as well) & found it very useful as most of the time I go away in Betty Boop on my own with the kids. It gave me the confidence to "have a go" & fix any problems that may occur, whether they may be mechanical or electrical. I carry a small box of tools, everything I could possibly need for my vw & a few spares & wouldn't hesitate to fix her if need be. I found the Boot Camp really useful & would recommend it to any newbie.
