T2D Slammed Westi

The latest bus to roll out of T2D is for sale. The base bus was a really sound and origianl 1971 Westi, which had recently been imported from California. The inside is very clean and the outside is clean but is by no means a show bus, certainly something you can use and enjoy without worrying about too much.

It has the following mods. so it is very low, but it drives very smoothly and handles like a dream.

T2D 4 inch narrowed link pin beam, dropped spindles, new link pins and track rods to suit, porsche front brakes, notched front chassis. At the rear we have notched and gusseted the chassis and lowered using new adj spring plates.Gasburner wheels, and new shocks all around.

The mods alone would cost around £3000 and the asking price for the bus is £10,500

Looks a bit different don't it. Somebody somewhere is going to get a great westi, there's something about the inside that makes this bus special, it's seams really untouched doesn't it.

That looks sweet Paul 8) , but how did you fit adjustable spring plates to the 71? Is this another new T2D product....tell all. :lol:

This one won't hang around for long. The stance is spot on.

mate that interiour is probably the most unused ive seen .they must have slept in the awning while camping !!! top job on it

really nice bus and great stance, can you tell me what size tyres you are using with those gas burners as thinking of what to put on mine with camping interior.

In answer to the above questions:

Old wheels are now on something else.

Tyres are 165/50x15 on the front
and
165x15 on the rear.

The bus is still for sale..
