tar board

hey guys,
Im back :roll: :lol: :msn4:

Not been on for a while....mostly been enjoying the bus :lol: and its been running brilliantly....touch wood....

now doing little nice jobs on it which brings me to the tar board above the engine in the engine compartment....

ive searched and can only find a few posts on replacements plus its holding me up fitting the firetec I bought on the groupbuy :lol:

So, is there now an accepted replacement for these tar boards or is it just make up anything you think may work :roll: :?

I've flattened my tar boards out and plan on giving them a wash, then respraying them with black paint. I was going to replace them with a metal sheet similar to the late bays I've got, but then thought - why?
