Hi Si

Just got mine too. 8)

I love the fact that van and my clio diesel cost me £35 a year to tax...

Other forums just wont apreciate this, but being a pre 72 site we all enjoy getting our free tax disc :D im lucky i get one for the van and my 65 MG :D :D .
But know that next year my new beetle will go from £165 to £270

I went to the post office to get mine, no cash left my wallet =)

I can't deny the smug feeling i had

Every time I go in to the Post Office I ask for a 6 month tax disk, such a good feeling getting a freebie

When i got the tax for MG hadntbeen taxed for 12yrs so had no paper work, the daft lady asked me did i want a 6mth or a 12mth tax  ,my reply was 12 cos its FREE :D :D

It's a great feeling, tempered by the fact I have a company car so that is paid for too. My only gripe is the fact the camper has cost on average a grand a year to run including resto costs since I have had it.

still, well worth it.

I know what you mean, there is just too many things to tinker with and too many nice bits to add.

Well at least not paying tax on them means that you can treat them to £150 worth of bits. :)
