Right am thinking of selling my 1971 tintop campervan to fund the purchase of a westy/devon conversion. It has just done 2,000 miles round trip to Devon and Cornwall without missing a beat and is also used as a daily driver.
Consequently it does have some rust issues, the wheel arches are bubbling and beginning to rust as is the bit under the sliding door...sorry am not up with all the terminology, it also has a dent on the front panel under the nearside headlight. It has an MOT until next April and has recently had new push rods, fuel lines and starter motor and like I said starts first time and drives very soundly.
Interior is sound with all door cards, headliner, cushions in good condition with JK table, is a walkthrough with full width back seat which converts the whole back space into a large bed, also has original cooker under the seat.
Photo was taken in Cornwall this year £7,000 is the price I've been recommended to sell it at and is my agreed evaluation.
