anyone else running their vans on the salty roads apart from me? Try and give it a hose down every few days and the bottom is oiled...any other tips apart from don't use the van!

Apart from trying to keep off the main roads that get gritted don't think there is a great deal else you can do.

However give a thorough clean in spring to get rid of as much salt as possible.

My 68 had holes pressed into the chassis sections by the front wheel arches, hence this caused water to spray into the chassis and run to the lowest point by the front outriggers and cause havoc, after undertaking the repairs i then welded the pressed holes up too to stop this re-occuring
