ive just unpacked all my stuff for my top end rebuild to find ive got the wrong size head studs :( ,ive been sent the 8mm and i need the 10 mm and i cant reuse all of the old ones cos im going from sp to t port and 2 of the studs arent long enougth, buger, buger, buger.if you c a dummy lieing round its mine.

why the diference in studs are single port 10 mm and twin 8?

can you buy 10mm studs for a twin port?

if not how do i get round the fact that 2 of them (each side)are diferent lengths?

any one converted from single too twin?

all i can think of is to use case savers?

sorry for all the questions but im a bit lost when it comes to engine diferences :?: :?: :( :(

Cant you just nip to a local nut'n'bolt supplier and pick up some new ones in the morning?

Look in the following categories on http://www.yell.co.uk for your local supplier

Fixings & Fastenings, Engineers' Merchants & Supplies, Bolt & Nut Stockists

i got sorted in the end :D

but it allways happens when its nice and sunny, thats the downer about it,if it were feb,the bits would have arived and you would have sat indoors saying "il do it next weekend"
