Hi all,

Just wanted to know opinions of others on what are the best shows for familys.
I am fortunate enough to live down the road from Santapod, so I have attended the Bugjams.....when I was younger!!! :party0009: , Dubdayz!!! ;) , Bigbang, Action etc.
I checked out Bus stop over near leicester, which was cool, Vanfest, and one Battlebridge. Enjoyed them all.
But now im looking for new intresting family venues.
Like the sound of Dubs at the Castle!! :) And i want to go back to Bristol....coz thats were i got 'Myvanway'!! :)
But there are so many now I want to pick the best for 2012 so any suggestions please are very welcome.

Thanks to all you guys at Earlybay.XX :D

Camper Jam is a must, get ya tickets booked as there is a limit on numbers this year. As for the others depends how far you want to travel, VanWest is a good show on a very good campsite with great facilities down here in the West Country. DATC as you mentioned & Bristol, also Oktoberfest in Chedar is a must.

Just

VW Festival - Harewood House is a must visit if you've never been before! ITS HUGE!!!
Good facilities on camp sites, plenty for the kids to do inc. large play area with swings, slides, rope slides etc. and a couple of fun fair rides (and trampolines, face painting and suchlike)
A large Tent with DJ for kids, then later for the adults!! :msn4:

Aside from all the gorgeous VW's from every era to drool over, there is Harewood House itself to look around, a very large and ornate stately home, as well as the beautiful gardens, which house many wild birds including believe it or not penguins, lol.
Its a long journey up there to Leeds, but its the best show i have been to so far by far, and well worth it for the entertainment you can get. Although as like everything else, prices have risen once again for this year sadly :(

My lad and his cousin are excited to go back there once again tho, as is my girlfriend and I
Even more so now we have a nice camper van to bed down in......NO MORE TENTS!!

ALIVEANDVDUBBIN is good family show, plus at Jimmys Farm this year so I would think it will be even better for kids than previous years :D
