205/70 on ET45 5.5s and 165/65 on ET 45 4.5s

front down 4" on Red9 coilovers, rear maybe one spline,

wheels fitted with 20mm adapters...
 
Yes they would go on.

Your best bet for the front would be to fit a porsche 944 disc brake set up.
Doing this would mean the fronts would tuck in better and also improved braking. I'm in the process of doing mine and managed to get the set up plus fitting kit for £300 which is a dam site cheaper than a csp kit.

Not sure if these are still for sale but may be worth asking.

As for the rears no probs if 5.5" or 6" wide.

Yep, that's them ^^

It's a '71 so I don't have any plans to change braking...
 
if you want porsche brakes go to the USA as i got qouted for the same set-up delivered $180 yes dollars
 
Hmmm, delivery on something that heavy would be $100ish...
 
Plus VAT, duty and collection fee :wink:

I'm not knocking it, I buy a lot of stuff in America - $180 just sounds like a giveaway price..?
