Hi
Me and the family are off to perranporth tomorrow for a week. It's our first time and would like some suggestions of things not to miss.
Thanks in advance.
Dave.

The Cider Farm between Perranporth & St Agnes & it's free. :D The Pastie shop in St Agnes best I've ever had IMO, Well at least I sorted your drink & food. I always like to get my priorities right. ;)

I would be tempted to take a drive up to Watergate Bay towards sunset and watch a bit of kite surfing and a cup of tea, followed by a little trip to the Phoenix.

Forget 15 restaurant though, we ate there for the last time last month as it was overpriced rubbish, I am afraid to say. Could to even cook pasta!

Lovely

Try tintagel castle, bit further up the coast, but we went on the way home last year and it was well worth the detour. As said, if you are staying at perranporth, you can't not go to the Healeys cider farm! Michaels mount near penzance is good and near the minak, bit of a trip but worth it.

Fish n chips at Mevagissy harbour ;)

Or Stein's Fish & Chips on the Quay at Padstow.

Ill second this one, they are superb. Get a take away and eat in youre bus and be then envy of everyone. :)

If you shop at Tesco, cash in your Clubcard tokens for passes to the Eden Project and the National Seal Sunctuary ... it makes for a couple of cheap days out.
On the Lizard there is a public viewing area at RNAS Culdrose where you can watch some S&R Choppers come and go for free ... theres a small shop and cafe there now, too.

Take a walk from Sennen Cove to lands end or possibly further. We walked from Sennen to the Minack and it was the most amazing costal walk we have ever done.

Thanks for all the ideas. Got here today and took a look round watergate bay. Should be good at sunset. Definitely gonna visit the cider farm and have got some tesco tickets for Eden on a rainy day. Which may be most of them looking at the forecast:( the missus loves fish and chips in a harbour so might try as many as possible to see who's best. Any more ideas for rainy days may be handy¿

Go surfing/body boarding. Great beaches around there particularly Fistral. You're going to get wet anyway. Good pint of Rattlers cider at the bar as well.
