Im just finishing off early bay lhd throttle pedal kits but having a few issues sorting rod length out , heritage list bay pushrods as the same as split bus ones , but im pretty sure bays are shorter , so if your able to that would be great , once ive sorted kits out i will be bunging them up on the forum .... Split bus ones work very well , gives full throttle and a smooth pedal with a spring return so carbs arent doing all the work , no more double springing the engine bay .
Split bus vid can be found here

Ideally i need several people to give info , then i can order shafts to be made up .
Will also be looking for a few testers to try them out , criteria is it needs to be on a bus soon and to supply photos and feedback of findings , then i can tweek/alter for final setup ....

RHD Split owners hassled me so this came about , being tested at the mo , not owning a RHD one makes making kit alot harder ....

LHD Split ones very similar to LHD Early bay ones .

Top left diagram is early rhd throttle set up, looks similar to pic above.

Bay and split are different they work the opposite way round aswell . Also original bay one is bent to allow cable and pushrod to avoid each other . Cheers Darius for testing one for me and analog yours will be finished this week so maybe do heritage Christmas run on Sunday if your about .

Yours is all fitted and working nice , had to lubricate your acc cable tube , removed the second spring from carb and just adjust cable .... So its good to go , think you will like ....

The metal rod on part 17 sheared off - looking further the weld in place was absolutely awful.

I managed to get a replacement NOS part from my local (HOVE) VW specialist "Pfeiffers" who saved the day........
I'm still not 100% happy as the other bits are still from the kit and I wonder how long it will be before something else goes......
