Afternoon,
I have seen many threads on here and elsewhere to confirm that I am not the only one with throttle cable issues with my progressive Weber. However, I cannot see a confirmed fix for the problem. So my question is, whats the best fix?
I basically have the cable coming out of the housing at a tight angle onto the carb. The pivot that holds the cable also moves too far and jams again the mechanism causing "cruise control" or more like lack of control... Then the pedal wont allow full throttle. So basically it all needs re-working!
My pedal mechanism has been replaced fairly recently so has limited slop, so its just the engine side that needs to be changed. Can anyone confirm if the below kit will resolve all my issues? Or advise how to modify / fabricate some brackets and pivots to fix the problem?
