Hi Yall
Pondering if i should put a Zig unit in the Bus
Putting in the usual stuff, 240 v hookup with sockets, 3 way fridge, cooker, radio, extra interior lights etc etc
is it worth the extra cost of a zig unit
let's have your thoughts

Many thanks
Vinvan

I have the CF8, I wanted a split charger and a way of fusing and distributing power for a number of things, propex, air ride etc.
I get on fine with it but haven't researched other options.

Edit*
To make it clear the CF8 offers split charging when driving or plugged in at a camp site/home

When building teardrops and converting eriba's Ive always used ZIG CF2000's

Not the prettiest things but can be hidden, small and they charge/control 12v and 240v all in the same box. A lot of the nicer ones either cost a bomb or require a separate mains battery charger.

Dead easy to wire to. Pop up on ebay from £30-£100 depending on condition

I bought six small switches and placed them in a box under the rnr bed, coupled this to an MXS10 unit from C-Tek
now when I plug in on site it takes over does all that is needed and can cope with everything on. Also have a split charger for the Leisure battery. Also plug in when at home and keeps all charged. Pics on build thread.
Your decision naturally.
