Hi all,

About to purchase our first Bay and want to carry bikes but don't really want the Fiamma rack. From past experience on other vans they rub paint off..

Can you get a detachable one so it's hidden when not in use?

Cheers
Mike

My first call for a towbar would be gadgets westy one, but it's not detachable for you :(

But

Auto craft are in the process of doing one at the mo

I have a removeable towbar fitted, had it for 3 years now,got it off the Samba.
I stumbled on it by chance, some fella was making them and after seeing what was available at the time i took the plunge........ :p :p :p

Well pleased with it,everytime i go round the back either to load up or checkout the engine i don't end up with grease on me shins or the kids clothes, mind they don't fit me very well

Cost wise it was cheaper to buy than a JK item better looking aswell and with shipping it was something like 40 notes more than the JK but i was hit for 38 notes import tax  (see niave in the dictionary for spelling and meaning )
On the whole would not be without it.

Sharky.
