Slough Swapmeet is going ahead on 2nd November and we need your help.
We want to make this the biggest and best event ever! (Big shoes to fill we know!).
Obviously most of you will have seen the press releases to say that the event had been cancelled. Myself(Robin) and Vince have taken it upon ourselves to resurrect the event for the benefit of the VW community. We've taken a big risk by putting our cash on the line but we're hopeful that the amazing VW folks out there will get behind us.
What we need more than anything else is for people to spread the word that it hasn't been cancelled.
If you might be interested in a table (traders or individuals) for preregistration please send a mail to: traders(a)sloughswapmeet.co.uk stating:
* contact name
* trading name (if applicable)
* mobile number
* email address
For a limited period tables are available at £30 each.
Please pass this information on to any friends that you think might be interested.
We're also intending to run 'King of the Carpark' - our own take on a 'Show & Shine' competition. Anyone who makes it into the main carpark will be eligible to enter and there will be trophies for a wide variety of categories from super shiny right through to daily driver.

The support we've received so far has been amazing and the VW community in general is made up of a great and supportive bunch of people. Please do what you can to support this event by means of promoting or attending so we can hopefully bring it back again next year.
