Kadrons are indeed Solex 40/44

It seems there are mixed opinions about them here.
I for one love them and think the make a great carb especially for a single port.

Soz about the shit typing .. it was the ipod's crap predictive texting and my sausage fingers that did it ..

.. Ok .. set of these with manifolds and linkages, pipes etc ..

how much are they worth?

I have a pair on my std 1600tp and they are fantastic....did 30mph on the way back from VanWest....sits at 50-60mph no problem.......other half has pair on her 1776tp bug........runs nice

In the Vw Camper mag review last month they were not rated the 'best' but the best for the money.......

.......expect to pay £150ish....look out for the solex ones rather than the bosal ones..........guy who services my bus recommended them as the best carb to get, and easy to fit set up.....

they are solex and i paid £130 with linkages and pipework ..
